It's official
Well folks. It's finally official. I sold the 85 today. I lost a bunch of money but that was to be expected. I am glad I sold it mostly intact. It was a sweet and sour sort of deal. Glad to see it go and sad at the same time. I have owned it almost 11 years. I have had a ton of fun with it and wouldn't take anything for the friends it made me. There are a lot of memories associated with that truck. All you great people. The web site that Jeff now has. I could go on and on. I will probably not be around these parts too much. I have started a new segment in my life. Time for me to move on to something else. I sure hope the next thing I decide to do doesn't cost as much money to play with.
I'll check in from time to time just to see how things are going. Thanks to each and every one of you. I have had a lot of fun. Really enjoyed it. See you all later. Remember to have fun with it or let it go. If it is making you miserable it's time to do something else. Mike Ervin |

Mike,
Just because you don't own a 73-87 doesn't give you the excuse to not call me every once in a while... Keep in touch!

Mike you were one of the first ones to greet me here 5 years ago, will miss the to do's and insight you have always given, people who acttually know are hard to find - thanks.
I believe I to am at the point where I may be ready to move on, never drive my 86 anymore, and I'm afraid of banging up my 78, so I know how you feel, bittersweet. Well the best to you in your new endevour, and stop by from time to time to see how things are going and who is still here. Tom

Re: It's official
wow, i just saw your truck on another site. are those TTII's or Cragar SS wheels? What size? And what size tires? Man, that is exactly the look I'm going for in my 86 Stepside resto. Not too much flash, and a little old-skool. Thanks for starting this site!
