Want to buy, 67-72 truck seat TX

I'm still looking for a '67-'72 truck seat. In good condition I want black or dark brown. Otherwise I will recover a poor condition seat if the foam is good. deluxe Bench seat or bucket. Prefer one that fits without drilling new holes. Originally had bench seat in truck.
thanks

Where is Brenham? I live in Lubbock and have several seats that need to be recovered.

My dad travels all over the state, was why I was wondering where Brenham was.

Re: Want to buy, 67-72 truck seat TX

So what EXACTLY are you looking for? You have been offered nicely covered seats, you have been offered seats that need recovering with pretty good foam. Maybe you should be more specific as to what you want that way we can figure out if we have what you need.

Re: Want to buy, 67-72 truck seat TX

I'm 16 & on a limited budget. I was hoping to find one for a lower price. I found someone in Splendora that has several seats that need to be recovered for $20. I'm looking at them next Tuesday so I may have a seat. The last time I wrote I had a seat but when I got there to look at it, it was not from a '67- '72 truck.

Re: Want to buy, 67-72 truck seat TX

Okay. That makes a little more sense. If you want to negotiate and trade I might be willing to work something out. I know who your talking about in Splendora... You probably got his name off Craigslist. I will be honest with you. I went out there to get a fender from him and wasn't too impressed with what he had at the time. His prices were cheap, but the parts were not that good either. The seats he had at the time I was there (2 months ago) were in terrible shape and the faom was deteriorating. I'm not trying to change your mind.. I just would hate to see you drive all the way out there and waste all the gas (which is getting ridiculous) just to be disappointed. Let me get you a pic of mine and then you can give me an offer. Sound fair?

Re: Want to buy, 67-72 truck seat TX

Here is the seat. The drivers side edge would need a little reworking, but the rest of the seat feels pretty nice. The back looks nice like the middle there. The round spots are the buttons that I cut off. They were hard on my bottom and hurt. The black seat cover will be included. It has cat hair on it, but that will come off, and it's pretty clean. I had it on the seat for 3 months before I took the truck apart. The tracks and mounts are not all rusted out and the seat slides well on the tracks. Let me know if your interested and make me a reasonable offer.

Re: Want to buy, 67-72 truck seat TX

By the way, the holes in the seat cover are meant to be there. They are for the seatbelts. They tuck nicely in the crack of the seat, but I unhooked the seat cover to show you the underside.
