lmc complete suspension kit
anybody ever used this kit, is it quality parts or some made in taiwan junk, i am stationed in kansas right now so it is only about a 1hr drive from here. but for 450 bucks plus a little bit more for shocks and to get everything at once it sounds reasonable. thanks
also i have no plans for lowering and the truck is ok now just could be alot better

Re: lmc complete suspension kit
I know that buying all the same components from moog will total over $2000

Re: lmc complete suspension kit
Check out ECE (Early Classic Enterprises), they use all MOOG parts, and I believe it runs like $575 or so. Shipping might bite a little, but call out and talk with Stan, I think, and sometimes they can cut a pretty good deal.

Re: lmc complete suspension kit
thanks 72 at least i would know what i am getting, have you used this kit did it make a big difference? i just bought this 72 as a cheap project while i was stuck in kansas as something to keep me busy. the front end isn't sloppy. but i do know the truck needs springs and shocks. but you know how it is when you start replacing stuff.

Re: lmc complete suspension kit
I haven't used this kit, yet...
My truck sounds alot like yours. The entire front end will be overhauled, but currently, it runs and drives, so I'll replace everything when I turn right and it goes left. MOOG has an excellent rep for making good parts, so that's the main reason I plan on purchasing them later on. Also.... FYI, I priced MOOG parts at the local O'Reilly Auto Parts, and their grand total was higher than ECE's, but you have to consider shipping costs as well. When I order my front end kit I will probably bundle it with the 4/6 kit, and a few other things to try and decrease the amount of shipping charges I incur. Stan is a great guy to deal with, so the rest of the board has, I highly recommed ECE. Good luck with the build, any pics?
