There is also one stamped on the frame by the steering box and one on the frame under the cab. LockDoc

these are almost all the stock locations I am aware of.
the first photo is a 70 and up. not much use to you. The second is a 69 and older... 2 piece plates, and all stamped, no paint/print. 3rd you can see my grubby finger pointing to the partial VIN that is stamped on the frame. *one not pictured* Driver side frame rail, on top, under the cab... obviously of no help to you, you'd have to jerk the cab off to see it. the 4th is in the drivers door jamb on the door it's self.
