C-notch Questions
I am interested in lowering my '72 c-10. I know that I am going to have to install a c-notch kit to get it lowered without clearance issues. I know you can either bolt the c-notches in or weld the c-notches in. I would like to weld them in because I still plan on using the vehicle as a truck (ie. pulling trailers, hauling parts). How thick is the metal the c-notches are made of? What type of welders can you use? Can you use a MIG welder? Any help would be appreciated. Thank You

Re: C-notch Questions
I wouldn't go any thinner than 1/4". If your mig is 220V you'll be alright.
