Exhaust Question
Am using 2-1/2 inch SANDERSON stainless ram horn headers. Would like to use stainless pipe and stainles turbo mufllers and stainless pipe all the way to the bumper.
This is a 68 short step with a fuel tank under the bed directly behind the differential. I have modified the x member by making a 4 inch hole on the left and right side of the x member so the exhaust can stay close to the underneath floor. This step side also has trailing arms. My question is there a jobber out there somewhere that would have an exhaust system that could be bolted in or welded in that is preformed for installation. Last job I had done at a muffler shop was a Hacked up pos job and looked like a well it just was not very neat.Pipes rubbed the shocks hit a bump or low place the trailing arms woul pinch the pipe upward toward the frame. Really made my A$$ tired when I would think about the dip wad that did the work, Thanks for any help from you wizzards. Larry

Re: Exhaust Question
There is a kit by magnaflow for these trucks, it is all mandrel bent stainless with an x pipe. usually they fit pretty good but might require a little tweaking to get them to fit.
