jc whitney grille?

has anyone ever seen a 1979 grille from jc whitney? do they have the bowtie emblem? how is the quality?

anything jc whitney is imported junk IMHO ive never gotten anything out of there i couldnt find somewhere else alot cheaper too..if youre looking for something better try LMC

i know lmc has them but i wondered if the jc whitney had a place for the bowtie. lmc's or anyone else's dont.

As far as I know, the only way to get the "bowtie" is to buy a Genuine Chevy grille. They can be had new for about $250. I suspect that aftermarket grilles lack the bowtie because of a trademark/and or licensing issue (my theory anyway).

No after market grille has a place for the factory bowtie.

LMC now has a new grille with the Bowtie if you want it. But, it's not a stock appearance grille. More of a billet look. I'd go with genuine Chevy for about $200 out the door. 1400-0078 is the Chevy part number.
