Any ideas where to put spare in blazer?
Any pictures of where you keep the spare in your blazer? I'm thinking of at a angle between the rear buckets facing rearward. Like sunk into the speaker box. Matching spare of course. Or maybe I'll use a donut spare? LOL

put a fold out rack in the back like on modern sport utilities and have it swing out so u can still open the tailgate

Blazer spare tire location
I mounted a standard truck in the box carrier behindf the rear passenger fender well and found a donut that fit the hole pattern. Then I found a cover in a Jeep (sorry, but it is unmarked) and covered the spare. It is a 2wd, so of course, has mo need for the likes of a 33" or 35' monster.

I removed the back seat in my '71 Jimmy and dropped my 33x12.50x15 in its place. Got a gun show desert storm rucksack cover on top and a bean bag chair over it.
It ain't pretty, but I have a spare.

 Keeps it outside so you have more storage space. I built a rack that holds an axe, shovel, and high lift jack that is behind the seat. That is a 35" Ground Hawg on a Bart's 15x12 steel wheel. Weighs 88# so has been subsequently replaced with a 33" 12.5 BFG on a 15x8 aluminum wheel that is in the 55# range. If I have a flat in the rear, though, I have to put a front tire on the back and the spare in the front. Eventually I hope to get a used spare in 35" size. Or run a "space saver" 33 9.5 BFG MT and just deal with having to swap front to back in case of a flat.

This spare is on the factory mount,
4 bolts to the bed behind back seat...
