Door Bumpers Installation Help

Okay those that know... How do you get these in? I tried dish soap and no go. I thought about pulling from the back side but that won't work on the lower one. Now I am just getting mad.

Re: Door Bumpers Installation Help

pressure on it while twisting usually works for me,OR using a pick or small scribe to push one corner in before spinning it works.Yes they are hard as hell to figure out but once you get the hang of it they are easy after that.

Re: Door Bumpers Installation Help

As with the hood bumpers, I use a very small flathead screwdriver to push the rubber past the metal. Be gental so as not to tear the rubber or scratch the paint.

Re: Door Bumpers Installation Help

i use a #2 robertson screwdriver and dielectric grease, on the rubber door stop is a small hole in the center , place the screwdriver in the hole on the end of it and slowly insert into the body hole(works good)
