Saturday morning CARtoons!

I scanned this today and thought you guys might get a kick out of it.

It was in a 1980 issue of CARtoons.

Re: Saturday morning CARtoons!

I've still got a few of those mags floating around. Always good for a laugh. The older I get, the more I like that 70's look on cars/trucks...

Re: Saturday morning CARtoons!

I think all of my mags still have the iron-on's. They sure would be cool, but I hate to use them.

You can take the staples out and use the transfers and then put the mag back together. Just make sure that you use a 50% poly shirt. 100% cotton doesn't work.

Re: Saturday morning CARtoons!

I have a bunch of these mags too. I dont know if any of em have transfers though. If they did I think I would scan them and print them out with the t shirt transfer paper you can get at office supply stores. You can save your originals in the magazine.

Re: Saturday morning CARtoons!

I've been wanting to post this. My son was watching "The Batman" cartoon and I noticed this truck. That's definitely a 69-72 chevy. I think I'll let him keep watching this one .

Even multi-millionaire super heroes love these trucks. (Makes me wonder if the cartoonist has a weak spot for these trucks??)
