Soft Top on CL Seattle -

Missing the frame work, which to me seems like the most important part - Looks like an old Kayline.

yeah, pretty useless without the frame. I'd rather have the frame without canvas, than a canvas without frame.

Looks like it was folded up for a long time. The safari style roll up windows tend to get scratched pretty easy.

The frame is basically just electrical tubing. I am pretty sure I could bend one up if I had to.

The problem would be getting the bows bent right and creating the right pivot points for it to fold down using the existing snaps built into the vinyl. Also, creating the frames over the doors to work might be a pain too. If you had an existing frame to work from, it probably wouldn't be too bad.

Re: Soft Top on CL Seattle -

The biggest problem I have with the soft top is still the idea of drilling holes in my windshield frame. This summer I think I'll work on building a front edge kind of like I saw on a Jeep that uses the top's bolt holes so you don't have to drill your sheet metal.

That would be great. I'd buy one off ya if you figure it out, but I already drilled the holes
