Camaro corvette guys, ID this steering wheel

I believe this is a rosewood wheel but would like to know for sure. I have one just like it on my 69 Camaro, but it is a darker wood. I want to sell it, but would like to know what it is for sure and what it is worth.
Thanks, Joe

I agree on the chevelle wheel. New they are I think $200.00 is what I paid for my last one, for the whole setup.

Re: Camaro corvette guys, ID this steering wheel

GM offered a wooden rim steering wheel in several different vehicles, with different horn buttons. Sweaty palms didn't do the finish on the rim a whole lot of favors. The right one brings a tidy sum of $$ to the right man.

Re: Camaro corvette guys, ID this steering wheel

Everybody bashes ebay, but I have had good luck rare items like that myself. I got $1977.52 for the '68 Corvette sidepipes below about 2 years ago. The PO took them off because they were too loud when the car just a year or so old, and they had been in his garage for about 35 years. I gave him $150 for them. I thought I did OK. Funny thing was, I listed them for $300 with no reserve!

yeah that would be nice... the one i was talking about wasnt the cross-ram, it was just a single holley 4bbl intake, identicle to a 70- up LT-1 intake, but it had the oil filler tube on it.

Yeah, I figured that was the one you talking about. They are pretty much same as the L79 350HP 327 intake.

there actully quite a bit diffrent, the L79 intake has 3 hole where the baseplate of the carb bolt to it, and they use a cast aluminum waterneck.

i'll see if i can find some pics

Re: Camaro corvette guys, ID this steering wheel

i dont know why this one doesnt have the cast aluminum waterneck, wierd. but this is the 3 hole 327/350 hp intake.

heres an LT-1 intkae, according to the ebay auction. this is the same look ing one my friend sold. i thought it only could have been a 67-8 manifold becasue of the oil tube, but he sais its a 70 corvette piece??? anyway here it 'tis

I wonder how much a black rimmed wheel like this is worth.
