Bought a bunch of parts !!!
I saw an add on Craigslist a couple of months ago that said:
"Chevy truck parts for sale" I called the guy to see what year the parts were and the guy said: "Someone told me they were 67-72" I said, your not sure what year they are and he said no, that he had bought an entire estate and that the parts are in the shed and he wants to clean it out so he can store his boat. So I went and looked at the parts, which the home was only 10 minutes fom mine and hear is some of what I bought for $500. The guy said some old man used to own the home and was in the process of restoring a truck before he died. I also got a C/10 short chasis which had already been painted, dropped and had all new bushings which I sold to a friend and a second cab which I stripped and scrapped because it was in poor condition, probably the old guys original cab. The cab and doors in the pic.'s had already been restored by the old guy and it looks to be a pretty good job. I will be painting and using most of the body parts on my 69 4x4. Rob |

Re: Bought a bunch of parts !!!
Yea, got to get rid of some.
Gona use the cab, doors, hood, right fender & 69 grill suround for my 69 4x4. The radiator support and right fender in the pic.'s had GM stickers on them so I'm guessing NOS, although they appear to have been in the shed a while because they have surface rust. I already sand blasted and resealed them. Rob |
