Wheel Spacers

i got a set of muds for my truck and i dont want to shell out 200 dollars for a set of 6 lug 15" tires...so the next best thing i can do is get some 2" spacers...i was wondering if any one has had any "Bad" experances with them... i only need an 1" to clear them but they will rub when i turn so...any advice would help here...

o BTW there 31x10.5 and im only putting them on the back...so... im putting the simi-altrearns on the front.

Re: Wheel Spacers

Stonewall the ones on Ebay all have 14mm studs our trucks use 7/16' studs. You would have to have new lug nuts for all 4 wheels and if you used just 2 spacers you would need different lugs front and rear.
I have been looking for a set of 6 lugs for my 4x4 for the rear but the ones on Ebay are 14mm.
If any one knows where to get the proper ones chime in.
Sorry don't mean to hijack or anything.

Re: Wheel Spacers

The diameterof the wheel stud on the Spacer is 14mm your studs on your axle should be 7/16". They will send you 14mm Lug nuts to install the spacer.

All you have to do is install the spacers on the drum with stock 7/16 lug nuts, and use the 14mm nuts they send to bolt on the wheel. If you have chrome lug nuts, you will have to buy a set if you want to match the front but that's a not a big deal. That's what I did on my '69 C/10.

Husker, thanks for the link. 1 1/2" spacer on the rear of my Jimmy will solve the axle width problem...J.

Re: Wheel Spacers

Any tire/rim shop should have these in stock. Plus they will be able to answer all ?? you have. I got mine from a small tire/custom rim shop. They were about the same price as Ebay, But I got a guarantee and a little free advice.
