Anyone running...
Is anyone running a 235/65R15 or 235/55R17 ??? (They're basically the same size, just different size wheels)
I'm looking into some 17" wheels for my truck & wanted to know what size tire might look good on a 17" rim Pictures needed !!! Thanks, Matt Last edited by Spray-Bomb; 02-27-2008 at 11:28 AM. |

Re: Anyone running...
235/50/17 would look good i replaced a set of 235/55/16 with a set of 17 inch wheels and 235/50/17 and loved them tire price wasn't too awfully bad either.

Re: Anyone running...
On my truck I've got 255/60/15 and 255/50/17 (between my steelies and my TTOs). They're approx. the same overall height. Pics in my build thread.

Re: Anyone running...
This is my everyday driver so wheels are the same size. Less hassel rotating them.
Tires are 255/60R- 17". 8" wide. No scrubbing on any of them except back two when I hit a hard dip in the road which I don't do most of the time. They rub just a little on the inside of the fenderwells. They have to really take a hit to rub though.

On my 17s I've got 255/50 on the front and 275/60 on the back, and I'm thinking I'll need the narrower axle to keep them from rubbing the bedsides when I'm aired out. |

Bfg 235/75/r15 (same overall dimension as 236/65's, just 10% wider).
