Grant wheels

Just wanted to let everyone know that I installed my new Grant wheel today. I just followed the instructions on the kit and it went on fine. Everything works-horn, turn signals, and all the lights. I was doing some searching on the board and found all your "horror stories" about Grant installation kits so I am kind of relieved it is on with no problems. I really like the look it gives the truck, and it is not harder to turn with manual steering because of the thickness and the rubber. Anyway, thanks to everyone who recommended this wheel to me.

Unhappy

I still haven't figured out the horn thing on my Challenger 440 model. It kills the battery.

I like that one too. Has anyone used the foam rimmed wheel?

I got this one. Actually, mine has a black button with a red bowtie, and I like the effect a lot.

I got mine on no problem...quite frankly, I really don't see where the problems come up, unless you've got a seriously buggered column. My only "problems" were both getting the kit in stock, clearancing the column sleeve a bit...hmm, I just thought of something...and dealing with really bad column bearings (I had to change the order of installation a bit because the bearings try to pop out otherwise).

Anyway...I'm gonna start another poll for the thought I just had.
