Blazer seats into CST? Help! - The 1947 - Present Chevrolet & GMC Truck Message Board Network

This has probably been addressed somewhere in this forum, but I need some quick help[. Can the bucket seats from a 1969-70 Blazer be installed into a pickup from the same year? Bracket change?

They will go in..but the holes in the floor are different,and the vehicles with buckets had a brace under the cab,and the passenger side brackets are different between a blazer and a truck.The blazer passenger side bracket allows the seat to pull up and the truck passenger side bracket doesn't move.

Can the brackets be changed on the seats to the correct ones?

Yes but I've read that some have used the blazer brackets in a truck.They make truck passenger side brackets new or find some originals.There have been some on the parts board for sale.
