Disk brake wheel spacer?

I now have disk brakes up front, but my stock wheels will not fit. I would like to run the stock wheels, so can I use a wheel adapter? The truck is a 1970 swb c-10.

I assume you have 6 lug rotors on there?
If so, I would try to locate some 4X4 wheels... 71 to 87. They are shaped properly for the disk brakes, and somewhat semi-common. If you like the rally wheels, that would be the easiest to locate.. and if you want to run hub caps, then you could always pop them onto rallys and just cover them up.

Some people worry about spacers but I have them on my G35 coupe, imports use them all the time (drifting cars too).
I also put a 1 inch set on the rear of my 67 C10. Just torque properly (and locktite). No worries

I used aluminum spacers made by one of the prominent aftermarket suppliers, and I lost a wheel when one of them fragmented. I had a local shop make me some out of steel and they worked fine for years.

why not buy wheels that fit properly instead of buying spacers again after a wheel fell off the trucks?

I need to know how big the adapter should be. I believe...If I run a 1"-1 1/4" adapter with the 7/16 dia. stud it should work...Can anyone back that up?

I have a question about this as well, i am looking to put disc brakes on my truck with 6 lugs. I have a set of 17" denali wheels off an 03, would they fit?
