Gmc?
Were all the GMC's grilles the same? 67-72, reason I ask, I'm trying to help Tri-Pro get the core supports repopped for GMC's. I gave them my dual headlite bucket to use as a sample. To my knowledge, all GMC grilles were the same. Please help, I would hate to give them the wrong information...J.

Re: Gmc?
LMC trucks lists them as the same part no. for chevys and GMCs except that the air conditioned trucks have a slightly different no. Probably a minor difference.
Here's a link.----------http://www.lmctruck.com/icatalog/cb/full.asp?page=119

Re: Gmc?
I thought we established last week that LMC doen`t have GMC listed. You must have read the catalog wrong and never followed up on your post.Look again. They just list 67/68 Chevy and 69/72 Chevy, only two listings.
To answer the question about 67-72 GMC supports being the same, the answer is yes.You can mount a 67 in a 72 or whatever without changing cores.

Re: Gmc?
There are are couple of differences in the 67/68 GMC core supports .. the 67 does not have the holes for the ac lines to pass thru below the battery box, both 67/68 supports have nut inserts along the bottom front for the lower air dam/valance (like on the 67/68 chev core supports) and 69/72's do not.

Re: Gmc?
Thanks for all your input, that is exactly what I needed. This board rocks, maybe very soon we will have core supports for the GMC's also...J.
So, to make this fit all years,'67-'72, it would have holes punched for a/c lines below the battery box and nuts welded to the holes on the leading edge, which are already there

Re: Gmc?
I guess I should have answered that core supports are "interchangeable",although not identicle,as well as grilles.
