62 clutch leak

on my 62 with a 3 speed cloumn shift,we can fill the brake/cluch reservoir and drive the truck for a short period and the clutch pedal will start to go to the bottom.No leaks in the brake system and i see no leaks anywhere else.
time for a new clutch?

Bama,
You must have later model hydraulic clutch in you truck. My 63' is 100% manual. Seems strange that the pedal would go down and you can't find a leak. I'm sure someone here will be able to steer you in right direction. I've got a lot of help here. There are a lot of very knowledgeable folks on this forum.

Did you check the slave cylinder for a leak. My 62 has the double m/c brake/clutch. My slave cylinder leaks slightly. It on the right side of bellhousing above the starter. good luck

You can order rebuild kits for your master and slave cylinders from Kragens if I remember correctly, less then $20 each.

i thought it was leaking but it itsn't.It will build pressure and you can drive it about a mile then the clucth goes to the floor.I see no leaks and the fluid level is staying full on both.

In that case Bama, I would suspect that your master is leaking internally. Such that the seals on the piston allow the fluid to leak past (no pressure) and this fluid then refills the reservoir.

Maybe it's time for one of these....
