American Racing rims finally after 14 weeks
I ordered my custom 18 inch rims back in November and finally received them 14 weeks later. They told me that the hold up was the centers come from china but the rims are welded in America if they are custom. So hope you like all I have is my cell phone.

Old saying:
"If it`s worth having it`s worth waiting for." But...it`s nice to know at time of purchase.I Like`em.Lots of large diameter wheels out there you can have on in a day.The fact that these out class the mainstream and require a wait will limit these to only be on vehicles of someone who knows what they want.No impulse buyers here.

Re: American Racing rims finally after 14 weeks
I love them I got 17s as soon as I bought my truck. I got them stacked up with new tires waiting for my 5 lug conversion. The rims are my motivation to get the frame done...

Re: American Racing rims finally after 14 weeks
I waited for my custom backspace TT2s for 2 months. Then one of the fronts had cracked chrome and its replacement took over 4 months to get here. American has some production issues I'd say.

Re: American Racing rims finally after 14 weeks
It took me 12 weeks to get my AR Hopsters 18 x 8 front and 20 x 10 custom built for my 56 apache. My friend is a manager @ discount tires and he was told they had a fire in the California factory where they fabricate the custom rims, and had to have some machinery replaced, thus delaying production. They bought out a weld racing factory and converted it to AR.
