Anyone cut drop springs?
I am going to cut up my new eibach 2" drop springs (front) to lower it a little more. I was just wandering if anyone knows how much a 1/2 coil would lower it? Thanks

Re: Anyone cut drop springs?
I believe 1 coil equals 2 inches of drop, so 1/2 coil would be 1 inch.

Re: Anyone cut drop springs?
Be aware that excess negative camber happens when dropping more than 2-3" in the coil spring area alone. If a 2" or 3" coil is used with a drop spindle it still works great but if you are trying to get more than 3" with just coils alone your upper a frame bolts will need to be longer to accept more shims for proper alignment and also remember that bumpstop and shock length have to be considered with that much coil area drop.
mexgrhd68 is right, generally 1 full round is 2" and 1/2 a round is 1" . By coil spring area I am referring to any mod done in between the coil bucket in the frame and coil bucket in the lower control arm.
