Fuel cell in our trucks with F.I. ????
Have anyone with a '87 -up truck,... installed a fuel cell in the rear and kept the electirc fuel pump in the tank? I would like to use a cell in my crew cab project and keep the tbi. My new shortbed has only one fuel door. My truck has dual tanks. I don't think one stock "shortbed" tank will work with this big block gas guzzler. I will PM "fuelcellguy". I just wondered if anyone else has done this.

Re: Fuel cell in our trucks with F.I. ????
If you don't mind leaving your spare tire in the bed, you can use a TBI Blazer tank at the rear of the truck in the spare tire's place. If you got a lowered truck, it makes sense anyway because that spare tire isn't at all accessible at less than stock ride height.
Another option is graft the fuel door into the new bed so you can keep both tanks. |
