C20 Rim/tire suggestions.

I'm lookign at getting some new rims/tires and would like to get somethign good looking that i wont have to rob a bank to pay for. The truck isnt lowered but has disc on the front now so it's about 1.5" lower than the stock drum/drum setup was. It's got 15" rims and 32" rubber now i was thinking bigger rims and smaller rubber. Suggestions? pics?
thanks

I've got these Eagle 058 wheels. Got them from Summit about $120 ea. Mine are 16.5x8.25 but if I had it to do over I would have went with 16's since their's alot more tire choices than with 16.5's

These are 16X7 eagle wheels. I bought them from a company on Ebay new in the box for $400 total which included shipping and lug nuts. It was a great deal. Heres a link to their on line store. They also have a great selection of take offs from new trucks. Theyv'e got wheel and tire combos and interiors too.

I like the wheels Bill has those look nice and seem to be able to handle some major stress.........you know you could change things over to a half ton parts put on a 4/7 drop and slap some of these on

Well i've been at the tire store for the past few days and i learned a few things. First off is that 3/4 ton rims are few and far between on styles for 17"+. Also that they are quite costly in the big sizes like 20s

Also tires for these size rims arent designed to handle much loading, IE for 18" rims the highest load rating for a set of tires would be about 5400lbs total... Well my truck weighs 4600 so umm i thought bad idea.

I'm curious how anyone out there with those big phat rims (ie 18+) can do anything with their trucks like hauling or towing wise...

Anyways i thought i'd just update you guys. It seems my best bet is a set of 16" or 16.5 because then i can get some LT tires that are All terrain, only problem is low speed rating, but ehh i've taken all my LT tires to 130 or so and they fine

enuf of my rambling
