Can you remove individual springs from leaf springs to make the truck lower.

Yes,but all it will do is lower it the thickness of the spring(2) and a little settling,especially if you use it as a pickup.FYI,a 3/4t GMC would be known as a 2500.C/20 is a Chevrolet.

so it is possible to take out leaf springs. How much of a drop should I get if i take out 2 springs.

It can be done, I took half of them out. if you leave the longer springs it make the ride better, plus I had the springs dearched 2 inches and shackles. The springs themselves will only drop the truck 2 inches, shackles will drop another 1.5 and dearched will give your 2 more inches. That's about as far as you can go with out doing a flip. The spring shop said anymore and the spring will be flat, not good. With tires(275/60/17) I drop the rear almost 7 inches from the factor stance.
