Does the "amp rem" wire out the back of the head unit go to the "p conn" on my amp? If not what are each of those for? I want to be sure before smoking something up! THANKS

Re: amp wiring ?

'amp rem' is the wire coming out of the head unit that turns on the amplifier. Not sure what 'p conn' is. What is the brand and model number of your amplifier?

Re: amp wiring ?

Like 454HO said, the 'amp rem' wire coming from the head unit is the wire that turns on the amplifier when you turn your deck on. On your amp there should be 3 connections beside each other. Ground (GND), Power (B+), and your Remote (REM).
