Towing Capacity
I have a 1972 Chevy c20 with 402 and turbo 400. Unsure of rear axle ratio. GVW = 7500#. How can I determine the towing capacity (GCWR)? I'm intending to install a gooseneck hitch and haul at least one 5500# + antique tractor. Any help appreciated.

Re: Towing Capacity
i think they are 10000 gvw. i would think it can haul it. does your truck have leafs? overloads? they help a bunch. if you can, try to find a longhorn, the couple i've had, had about 10 pack leafs with the overloads.
