Wiper wiring
Alright guys, I have another problem. I need to know how to run the wires from my wiper swich that mounts in the dash to the motor on the cowl. I don't have connectors on it (aftermarket wiring), and can not remember how it was wired before. It also has another wire. Where does that one go?

Palf70step,
You are the Man!. I just turned my computer on hoping somebody would post this schematic. What website did you get this from?. I see at the bottom it says typical 67-72. I have 2 harnesses here "without" the 2 Dark Green wires at the Ignition switch. What gives? Thanks

I haven't had to play with my wiring yet, so I am not real sure...but here is the other 3 parts of the schematic.

FYI, those schematics are from the Haynes 67-87 manual. The wipers get power via the yellow wire, and is activated by grounding the lt blue and black wires, the dark blue wite when grounded will ground the washer pump.
Simply, lo speed is lt bl and black grounded, hi speed is lt blue only grounded, and park is lt blue and black connected together, (not grounded). Hence the need for the special switch. THe column mounted switches work differently, will not work with our motors, unless you can settle for only 1 speed wipers.

Thanks a lot Palf for the help. I haven't been able to use those diagrams since it is an aftermarket kit. What I need is for someone to look underneith their dash and see which wires run from what terminal to the other, and what color the wire is. I have made some diagrams that someone can use as reference. Thanks for your help guys.
What numbers go with each other and what do the other things go to? I need this soon, cause it has been raining all day. It is really hard to see out of a window plastered with water.
