help with lowering springs please!?!

What exactly do I hve to do to get my old springs out and my new lowered springs in? Any pics or anything else would really help... thanks guys try to respond quick so i can get this done asap.. thanks again Sean

Here is how I have always done it.
1) take the wheel off.
2) take the cotter pin off the top or bottom ball joint, Whack it really good with a hammer or use a pickle fork. This is the hardest step usually. Make sure you leave the nut part way on the balljoint.
3)after you get the spindle loose on the top or bottom, put a jack underneath the lower control arm and jack it up so it takes the weight off the ball joint and nut. Make sure that it can't slip off the lower control arm easily.
4) remove the nut and slowly let the jack down. This should make it so you can pull the spring out.
5) to assemble just reverse the process. Just be sure that you seat the spring right or the front of your truck will sit uneven. The lower part of the spring needs to be mounted in the recess in the spring pocket. Good luck

or you can take the two U brackets that hold the lower contolle arm on from the rear and slip the spring out. oh take the wheel off just cause.
