I just bought a tilt column out of a 71 maybe a 72 Blazer today at my local pick-a-part. I almost passed out when I made the find. The Blazer still had the bucket seats, a perfect grill and the tilt. I bought the tilt and let another have the grill cause I got a 69 and left the seats cause they wanted $40.00 each and they would have needed to be re-done-anyways, I have a single gray wire that connects to the fuse box-what does this wire do? and which hole on the fuse block does it go in?....thanks

usually gray wires in the column area are for illumination. possibly for the shift indicator.

i agreeshift indicator light there should be a terminalon i belive upper right of fuse panel labeled cluster lights or somthing like that. it's beenalmost a year since i was up under the dash you'll see itif you look under there
