Soon to be a new addition.... '68 GMC 3/4 4x4
Just got back from looking over a truck for sale, '68 GMC 3/4 4x4 with a plow setup. 305 V6 - 4 speed, everything is still there down to the original radio. The body from the firewall back has been attacked by the rust belt - but it's WI.
Pics.....

Looks like a good start to a new project! Are you going to keep the v-6?
Gas hog, but unique. john

Looks great! I was going to comment about buying a used snow plow truck...(something you don't normally want to do!)
But since you're going to continue using it as a plow truck, then go for it! Looks like a Western Plow set up too! Here's a new forum for all the plowing info you'll need! PlowSite s/t

Nice find, love the K20's personally... Is the body too far gone to be saved?

Is that just me or does it look like the frame bows up in the middle?

Unfortunately the body from the firewall back is pretty gone. (note the misalignment of the box to the cab on the drivers side) The box is held together by the cap - it'll be chucked and I'll make it into a wood flat bed.
For now it's going to serve as a plow truck, should scare the snow away.

Re: Soon to be a new addition.... '68 GMC 3/4 4x4
Update: New toy has been home now for month or so. When I picked it up all that was needed was some starting fluid and new gas - she turned over and started up. Dropped it in four wheel drive and moved right out of 4-6 inches of mud. (see above pics)
Have picked up a carb rebuild kit and new alternator, next projects to get it ready for this upcoming winter. Has 45K on the clock.... however that's hard parking lot snow plowing miles. Pics.....
