Re: Good place for Electric Radiator Fans

I bought these last Jun and have been running them ever since with no problems. I made a shroud to put them in.

Try Wes at Classic Heartbeat. Shifty will probably jump in here. He wrote a good post on the fan install.

Right now they are on a relay going to the key but I'm going to get a temp switch when I get my new engine. 20 deg cooler at idle now

Re: Good place for Electric Radiator Fans

Are you running one relay for both fans, or one each??

Re: Good place for Electric Radiator Fans

Wes, those fender wells are making the rest of us look bad. Realy nice.

Does this system bolt into my current radiator or come with one?? Seems i should be putting holes in a non leaking radiator.

Re: Good place for Electric Radiator Fans

It mounts to your radiator. I can sell you a radiator also if you need one... lol Thank you for the complement on the fender wells. I had them powder coated gloss black along with the core support, battery tray assembly, both water bottle brackets, and corner braces for easy clean up. WES

Re: Good place for Electric Radiator Fans

I'm just running them off of 1 relay. Together they only draw 24 amps at the most. Never had any problems with it. The good thing is that the fans cover the radiator completely.

Re: Good place for Electric Radiator Fans

That shroud I made was a quick throw together job. I'm going to build a better one later.
