Extended Cabs

A while back I saw a picture on this board of a medium, almost "Grabber" blue 67-72 truck that instead of hacking a LWB frame down to run a Short Fleet Bed- the guy exteded the cab 12" to make up for what was taken out of the front of the bed. I've searched high and low for this picture and am now asking if anybody here remembers that pic and can school me as to where to find it.
Actually I'd be interested in seeing any other pics of extended cabs. I don't want to see the 3 or 4 door crew-cabs or converted 'burbs....but the shorter 12" extended cab with Short-Fleet Bed on a standard LWB frame.

Re: Extended Cabs

Both of those trucks are nice, but the one that has been extended 20" is my perfect idea of an extended cab.

The 20" stretch is butt-hole tight for sure! However, to pull this off, I would have to relocate ALL the bed mounts and NOT hack the 8" off the tail of the frame- correct? Are my eyes deceiving me or do those rear windows actually roll down? The only practical way I could see of doing this would be with cable-driven power regulators.
This will be my inspiration. I hopefully will be draggin' home a cab this weekend where somebody has already done the stretch- I will need to reform the B-Pillar, so I can use 'burb doors and do some hammer and dolly work on the roof. Wish me luck.

Re: Extended Cabs

Here are few more examples. I have to say that proportionally, that blue '67 looks like it could have came that way from GM.
