Too bad 72Mario didn't buy that one, at least it would have fit on the car trailer a little nicer. That truck will give someone a nice solid start.

Yep.......Ive had a bunch of NO-SHOWS. As well as it runs......If someone would just show up...I know they would take it home...actually they could drive it home. Someone who wants a rat rod, yard truck or drive while you fix...this is it!!!

Here is a better description of its condition that I sent to a fellow board member today. I thought It was pretty descriptive of its condition.

The truck is still for sale. 3-21-08

In my opinion it would make a great run around town truck, to the dump truck, budget build truck or first project truck for a 16 year old. The truck is complete but there is the typical rotted rockers, cowl, kick areas, etc. The drivers door was replaced at some point and it needs to be lined up a little better. The tailgate is 100% operational but was used as a saw horse and has a couple of skill saw cuts in it. The front tires look new and the rears have plenty of tread but they are cracking. If you are looking for something to make a 10-20K truck out of.....this isnt it.

With that said.........it drives great!!! Runs VERY strong. All the lights and blinkers work, all gauges work and are accurate, tranny shifs great.Brakes and emergency brake work good. Doors operate properly and the windows and vents roll up and down fine. Engine purs like a kitten and does not smoke. It has a fresh oil change and we just tuned it up. We also put some "year correct" older mirrors I had on an old parts truck on it.

The wiper motor has been pulled out of it so im sure its bad and the radiator will need to be replaced. I pulled it out (radiator) and JB welded it in a few places and it is holding.....but it needs a fresh one to be a daily driver. The carb looks to be a new reman but the choke was having some slight issues so we just disconected it. It also has a brand new starter on it.

Now.........this truck belongs to a buddy who took it in on trade. It was close to my house so I went and got it for him, brought it home and started working on it. He is so pleased with the way it is now running and driving he said he is comming to get it and take it home and drive it untill it sells. If you want to come see or buy it.....let me know when and I will tell you where it is. I have 2 or 3 more pictures if you send me your email address I will send them to you.

This is a "bill of sale" sale.

just a quick question. What makes you think this couldn't end up as a 10-20 k truck? i think it looks like an easy project Mine was in about the the same shape except my bed floor was BEAT and my floors were worse, the glass was all bad except the rear slider, and the doors were rusted on the bottoms. mine is well on its way.

I cant believe that hasnt sold yet. I sold my 70 SWB last month for $1500 and the body wasnt as good as that one. Up here that truck might fetch 2K.

Must be the economy,Everbody I know are starting to watch their spending habits. I have even thinned my herd down to 3 vehicles, Its starting to look a little barren around here.

Any truck could be a 10-20K truck if you spend 10-20K on it.

I was just trying to get my point across.......to be a 20K truck it will need everthing.

A few folks from different states have asked about current registration on it. Supposeldy you can register without a title in other states if it is current in the state it comes from.

If anyone is interested......For a few extra dollars I will put insurance on it, get it tagged and then we will have a current registration.

Bye bye little truck.I agree that would have been a great little casual run around truck.I wish I had never let my`72 2-option shortbed go for dreams of bigger/better things.Those little 6-bangers will hustle you around nicely and save a buck or two on fuel.

Im shocked it took this long......great truck for the money. A lot of lookers and time wasters......I guess they look different in pictures, in some places "Bill of Sale" sale must mean something else and a point by point detailed description to some folks must mean....."It cant be that bad and is probably a 5K truck he has listed for $1200".

I have dealt with some real winners, looky lous and time wasters in the past selling vehicles.......but this one topped them all!!!!
