1/2 to 3/4 ton front hubs?

I should know this or at least could figure this out but the only 1/2 ton parts truck is stored not near here and I don't have time to go look at it any time soon. So...... My buddy just bought a 70 c10 from arizona and had it shipped to Rhode Island,Wow not cheap but what a truck,we sure never saw any like that around here at least not since the 70's. This truck has leafs and we were toying with the idea of converting it to 3/4 ton I know the rear is a no brainer but the front,is the whole center section diffrent or could we just change the spindles hubs and brakes? Are the a frames the same or diffrent? just wondering, thanks for any insight you can offer.

frame is the same
I think one of the a arms is the same, but the rest needs swapped out. Personally, I'm just swapping out the whole cross member on my 3/4 ton burb to make it a 1/2 ton

Re: 1/2 to 3/4 ton front hubs?

be sure to tell him to remember it was originally a 1/2 ton should he ever need cab mounts. 1/2 ton 2wd mounts are different than 3/4 ton 2wd mounts.
