Lift for 72 C10 2 Wheel Drive?

Hello All,

I have a 72 c10 2 wheel drive and would like to raise it so that I can run 31" tires. I do not care for body lifts and would like to do this all suspension. It is currently lowered with CPP spindles and springs. I have the rear coil suspension. Any suggestions? A quick search of the internet and this board gave me no results.

Thanks,

Scott

Several companies make coil lift springs....about 2" springs should do it but that is about as far as you can go and still allign it.

I appreciate the response. Do you have the names of any of those companies?

I would sell it and buy a 4x4. There are much easier to lift with leaf springs.

Re: Lift for 72 C10 2 Wheel Drive?

Fabtech used to sell lifted spindles, springs and upper ball joint spacers for 73-87 trucks which worked on our trucks, but sad to say they no longer carry these. Your best bet would be to get a spring shop to build you a new spring with the lift you need (2 - 2.5" max). The upper ball joint spacer would also help alignment if you could have a machine shop mill a 2" billet spacer to fit between the ball joint and control arm.
