Can anyone i.d. this engine and these heads for me please?

-engine (under pass. head) K0 29C3T

(behind drivers head) 3970010

-heads -driver side 333882
-pass. side 482824

block is 69-79 350 car or truck.
Driver head,74-80 350 or 400 car or truck.
Pass head, could it be 462624? If so, 71-85 350 or 400 car or truck.
Would need the casting dates to get closer.

3970010 is probably the most common number. It is used on 2 engines.

1968- 327
and
1969 thru 1979- 350

Cylinder heads are
1970-80 333882 CID 350,400 Int.-1.94 Exh.-1.5 CC.-76

So makes me think you have a low horsepower 350 from the 70's

doozer has a good point.. doesnt really matter, unless you plain on using the (prob) wore out crank anyway

Vortec heads solve the problem of owning a smog motor from the 70's . Spend a few pennies on getting the valves done on the 882 heads, someone will buy them. I have the original 350 from my 72 on the engine stand right now. And I am headed down that exact road.
