New Rallys

I'm going to go look at some rally wheels tomorrow I found on craigslist. The guy is asking $200 for wheels, trim rings, and center caps. He said they are in pretty good condition. I will take some better pictures when I get them home.

Re: New Rallys

Looks like a good deal. They usually average around $200-$250. Once you get some nice tired on them and on the truck it will make a huge difference.

Those caps look different. Did he glue something on the ends?

I've seen people use small stick-on mirrors on the 4X4 caps, but those look to be some kind of turned aluminum thingamajiggys.

Re: New Rallys

Here is a picture of one of the wheels that I got. They are in really good condition and only have a few small scratches on the trim rings. They will go on the truck once it is painted.

That is neat looking cap. I've never seen that one before. When you take if off to paint the wheel, get a few shots from the side and back if you don't mind.

Re: New Rallys

It looks like someone slid one of those thin sheet metal center caps over top of a normal GM rally wheel center cap.

Re: New Rallys

I'm sure glad you posted this.I just bought a set of 6 lug rallies and thought I might have gotten taken.I paid $125.00 and got the trim rings and caps with them.they appear to be in the same condition except the caps are stock. And the guy met me within 3-4 miles of my house.

That's not too bad. That stuff is steadily getting away from us, and stuff that used to be laying everywhere is getting tougher to come by.

Re: New Rallys

Does anybody make a bolt on(original holes) type hubcap keeper ring? I would like to run a baby moon or stock center cap with these wheels.just though someone might have a source.
