Question new question

the whole problem began with a headlight problem that i posted about.
http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s...d.php?t=283291

wen i went to chec the connections i first turned on the lights 2 c if the truck fixed itself. but wen i hit the switch nothing happened, so i thought it was the connection at the switch. wiggled and pushed on the plug but the lights still wouldnt turn on. i hit the horn 2 see if anything is was getting any power, and it didnt work either. tried the engine, nothing. so i chec the battery and it had power. 4 the hec of it wiggled the plug on the headlight that was causing me problems. i chec if that had did anything and everything started working properly.

so the question is would a loose plug at the headlights effec the rest of the truck's wiring?

Re: new question

Seems like you have a hacked wire grounding out somewhere. On mine i had the wire loom on the fender well burn one wire bare and short out.

Maybe a spliced wire in the ignition switch melted.
