Seat belt won't retract

Its the passenger side that wont retract. Is there a way to fix w/o replacing it?

Tke it out and spray some wd40 on the metal parts and it will work fine.

The bolt that holds the belt in the bracket is also the adjuster, but you can get it too tight and it won't retract. Once you loose the nut, you will see that the bolt has teeth on the inside, twist the bolt unitl you feel some it resist then tighten the nut. You may have to do it a couple times. It that doesn't work, the spring broke.

It is common for the springs to fatigue, and break. Rarely does the lubricating trick work..
