Bagged 67 stepside

I'm going to bag my 67 stepside and just want to see some pics of other guys rides. I searched for it but found alot of fleetside trucks, but i'm sure there are stepside out there also. One more this is, I would like to know the Max rear tire width I can run. I will have 2.5 spindles and bolt on c-notch. Thanks and again even if yu know of a link with this info will work also.

Building a small, high rpm engine with the perfect bore, stroke and rod ratio is very impressive.

Re: Bagged 67 stepside

Thanks for all the pics guys, it's what I was looking for very nice trucks. I think I will run 20" wheels and 40 series tires, I want to put 20x10 5" back spaceing on the rear and 20x8.5 on the front. Think that will work???

yup, with 5.25" BS on fronts and w/the early rear axles...later axles 3/4 wider on each side.

I've got 20x10's on my 68 with 5.5" BS and I'm now getting .5" spacers

Re: Bagged 67 stepside

what size wheels are you guys running on these stepside trucks to keep them on the inside of the rear fenders, example hight and width. When I droped my truck the rear tire don't clear, I want to buy new set of wheels for my 67 short step Bagged. The rear end mesures from inside to inside of drum 56 1/2'' 5.5 lug. Thanks in advance.

Re: Bagged 67 stepside

Im struggling with this right now... I decided to throw a step side bed on my 67 shop truck project... I have a kp notch welded in with 2 inch blocks... I was going to run steel 20" wheels but they bottom out in the fender... I am down to a 225/70/15 and it just touches the top of the fender when aired out... Thats 27.4 tall.... I'm ready to throw a fleet on it and stuff my 20's back under it...

Re: Bagged 67 stepside

There was a article in Classic Truck on sectioning the fenders. They did it on a 50s Chevy truck but it could be a option if your dead set on keeping the step bed. Raise the bed and section the fenders so the body lines line up.

I've looked at dooking that but not sure... I kinda dig how low it gets on 15's
