This is your warning!

I made the mistake last Saturday of asking my wife if she wanted to ride to Lowes with me,Big Mistake! so after i finished painting the kitchen, she thinks the new color would look good in the dining room. I told her there was no way that i was going to spend my entire weekend painting! So after i finished the dining room,i had less than three hours before dark Sunday evening,to do what i wanted. So if you ever want someone to ride with you to Lowes, ask a friend,a neighbor,or pick up a stranger, but never ask your wife!

Re: This is your warning!

I feel your pain brother. I just got done redoing our master bathroom. I made the mistake of letting my wife talk me into it and the damn thing took me 5 weeks of nights/weekends to get done.

At one point I got so frustrated/mad that I told my wife "I ain't doing **** to this house any more so don't bother asking." Afterwards, I thought about it and realized just how crazy that statement was because I know next year, I'll get talked into some other project that I'll regret starting...

Well...my girlfriend wont let me near the house with any kind of tools. Everytime I try to improve something...it seems to cost more to get someone to come and unimprove what I done!

Re: This is your warning!

Never, ever go furniture shopping with your wife!!! Hours turn into days, days turn into weeks. And when she wears you down she knows she's got you right where she wants you...at her feet, on your knees begging for mercy as you hand her your wallet!!
Ask me how I know.

Yep that was him....he's a blast to watch and he's from Arlington. I used to go see Bill Engvall when the Improv first opened here....those guys are the best.

Oh yeah and you are correct sir. Learned that one awhile back myself. I did like the furniture store trip though, I got a new Italian leather couch out of that deal and never had to pay a cent...
