Re: the portland or. swap meet
I'll be attending this year for the first time in about 5 years. I'm not sure what vendors will be there, but its huge! You got family here or something? Seems like a long way to travel for a swap meet.

Re: the portland or. swap meet
I was unaware, but now that I am aware I just might go. WHen looking for the info I found this page:
http://www.portlandswapmeet.com/Information.htm And I also found this one. THe link says 2006 but the page itself says 2008. Any confirmation on that? There really are two competing swapmeets at walking distance from each other on same weekend? http://www.portlandraceway.com/docs/2006_Swap_Meet.pdf |

Re: the portland or. swap meet
The 2 meets are interconnected, and there is bus service between them.
when I worked for golden state pickup parts in the 90's, they always had a booth at portland, and there were always other competeing vendors, golden state is not around anymore, so I am hoping some of the others are. |

Re: the portland or. swap meet
I will be there. I have a spot along the river at the track. I hope to have my 1961 Chev short bed there. Green with a rough black primer box. I hope to find a rear bumper and brackets. Would like to find a better short fleetside box. The right quarter on mine is very rough.

Did anyone go to the Portland swap meet today? Going up in the morning at 4 a.m. I heard it is a big one this year. Loaded (truck and trailer) and ready to go.
