If you need to store that puppy, I got the perfect engine bay for it.

That's awesome, Dood!

Re: pics of my new 496 woohoo

think around 5 grand-ish. cheaped out on the crank, just cast but the rods and pistons are nice (srp pistons). already had a complete 454 from the truck, had to buy a set of heads, ones on there were junk and a set i had in storage were junk but i ended up getting a set with bigger valves and some other work for a decent price.

I just hope YOUR gas is less costly than what I have around here.
You may end up yanking that thing out and using a 1.8L Honda engine before long!!!!
Looks great. I think you should stick with the rust-bucket cab so the ricer-kids won't suspect anything!

Re: pics of my new 496 woohoo

headers are hedman elite 1 7/8 primaries and 3 1/2 collector. il probably find a better cab for the truck and put it on before the engine but probably paint it flat black. it il look like hell but be a sleeper, gotta think people would know somethin is up when they here it rollin down the road cause it will probably sound wicked don't think those valve covers will clear the brake booster, had em for years now, they look good but are so flippin tall, like an inch and half more than most tall covers. im gettin a test stand built for it so i can fire it before it goes in the truck, get any problems fixed before it ever goes in

Re: pics of my new 496 woohoo

Hey, 496,
I hate to get off subject, but I have a short, stupid question for you.

I have a coworker that's been trying to e-mail a feller in Canada, & vice versa.
Both of their e-mails keep getting bounced back.

Have you ever had any problems with that?

Thanks, El Jay.

P.S. I still think that is one awesome, freakin' motor, Dood!
