Hmm... Kinda "Mustangy".

I could picture them on an eighties truck, but definitely not seventies.

Sorry man... I didn't mean to ruin your honeymoon. If you haven't already, please don't click the link I posted. It'll only make matters worse.

They don't exactly scream "MUSTANG!". Noone will make the connection once they're mounted on your truck.

Re: check my wheel choice

I think they will look good, and not look like a Mustang wheel.

I personally would just leave them and not paint or pordercoat any of it. They will end up looking better for a lot longer and you wont possibly regret a decision you made a year or so later after.

I can't wait to see them mounted up!

Collin86 -

With such a wide rear, are you planning to go for that Deeeeeep Dish look (by shortening the axles)?

Here's a visualization of a deeper dish than what Bonspeed's image shows. I've grayed out the recessed areas for the latest trendy look.

very good lookin' wheel. I am a big fan of almost anything 10 spoke. Make sure you take some pics as soon as you get them mounted on the truck.

... Narrowed rearend.

I hesitated using black because it would excenuate the cutouts of the inner rim and take away from the visual mass of the wheel. Of course, it may the look you want. Another option is to use a secondary color that is common to these trucks (or your truck) like agent silver (?) (instead of the gray), i.e. matching the stock shaded color of the grille.

Re: check my wheel choice

yeah that might work. here is my paint scheme. (not painted yet) the truck is going to have shaved everything pretty much and its going to be black, but from the body line up its going to be like a black cherry red and there will be some sort of silver pin stripe dividing the two colors.

im starting to think a normal polished wheel would look the best
