Idle Help

when i start driving truck it stalls when i slow down and come to stop.. does it 5 times then after 10mins of driving it doesnt do it.
all i did different was cut the mufflers pulled the fresh-air duct from the core support to the factory air filter and exhaust is pretty much straight pipe for now. Truck is fuel injected

Bump, for a good question.
My dad's 87 does the same thing. I did a search, could it be a EGR problem? His is fuel injected, I thought it would be a vacuum leak somewhere. His stalls at stops at random. On one drive it did it every time but the last drive it was random. He doesn't drive it much as its a project.
What year is your truck and motor?
