Truck leans to left. Whats wrong?

69 GMC. Leaf rear, shortbed. It leans about 1.25 inches in the rear and .50 inches in the front. I am assuming the leaf spring on that side is shot. If the rear was level I imagine it would help the .50 inch in the front also. Any ideas?

check for bad rotted cab mounts also make sure all the tires are the same size check for obvious kinks or bends in the frame or spring mounts from accident damage if all that is good next step would be new springs

It's tired and is looking for a wall to lean on.

Re: Truck leans to left. Whats wrong?

Keep in mind a weak rear spring will make the opposite side frt spring seem stronger. Imagine a truck with a weak right rear leaf and you will notice the left frt sitting higher generally than the right frt. Also same scenario,a weak right frt coil can make the left rear leaf measure higher than the right rear and so forth. Measuring all 4 corners on LEVEL ground like a garage floor will help you determine which corner may be at fault.

Might be "set-up" for oval racing?
