is the frame on a 67-72 stepside the same as the short bed?
is the frame on a 67-72 stepside the same as the short bed? just wondering, cus i can't seem to find a short bed for sale around here so i'm wondering about just getting a stepside and putting a short bed on it, but i wanna know if i have to modify the frame any. any advice would be great, thanks.

If you have a short bed stepside you can bolt on a short bed fleetside. If it's a long bed stepside a long bed fleetside will fit.

Yes, I know people who have put short Fleets on an original Step short.
