Reproductions on these parts?

Took a quick look around, don't know much about the 67-72s to begin with, let alone the blazers just wondering what of this damage is made reproduction. If they make a full quarter panels if is welded or bolted? Blazer looks to be in good shape other than this, too bad its doesnt have a clean title . I might be able to get a good deal, so what do you think its worth?

Re: Reproductions on these parts?

I can get around the title problem pretty easy, gotta keep in mind its really hard to find a good solid body up here due to heavily salted roads. I figured 1500 would be acceptable? Any other canadians on here?

I just want to see if I could replace the panels easy enough to make it a drive quickly.

Somethings makin' that truck sit crooked. I'd look for frame damage.

Hopefully you can get around the title. If you can't register it, you'll need to part it out.

Re: Reproductions on these parts?

The quarter's repairable and another tail gate can be found fairly easily from a truck or blazer.

How's the rest of it?
Any interior in it?

Check everywhere for rust, blazers hide it very well...until you dig in.

Given where you are and the condition of that one, I'd buy it.

Re: Reproductions on these parts?

Replacing a rear quarter on a blazer is not easy and the parts are not available from aftermarket. You can get "pieces" but they are no where near equal to original. Outer rear skin is available but not the inner. You could use a section off a truck bed rear quarter--cut and weld. Tailgates are re-popped but not as strong as originals and hit and miss with fit. The rest looks like it could be OK. If the body is pretty solid other then the obvious, then it is probably worth $1500.++ given the location. Check the rear floor to rear quarter rust, underside rocker-torque boxes, Windshield frame above sun visors and lower portion of the B pillars. As mentioned, Blazers hide rust and what you see is always the tip of a very ugly iceberg. Huck
