Is there a difference between big block and small block motor mounts and mount towers?
I have a 79 4x4 with 454 and the oil pan is touching the the cross member in front. I am thinking that I may have the wrong mount set up. Does anyone have any info on the mounts for this application.
Iknow that the 69 -72 had different towers for bb and sb.

I used the small block crossmember and towers but the big block mounts on the motor when I put a 454 in my 79.No clearance issues with it.
